About Moving Feet

An Entertainment Experience Like No Other

Movingfeet Productions is an entertainment and media company rooted in the vibrant San
Francisco Bay Area. We are passionate about sharing the captivating stories of South Asia
with the world. We strive to bring these timeless tales to life through the immersive, visually
stunning medium of Broadway-style theater. By honoring our rich cultural heritage, we aim to
inspire and entertain audiences of all backgrounds, fostering a deeper appreciation for South
Asian arts and culture.
Movingfeet Productions is founded by two friends, Urmi Chakraborty and Sreyashi Raha,
who are deeply immersed in the arts and cultural scene in the San Francisco Bay Area and
beyond involving the South Asian diaspora. They realized the gap in the quality of locally
produced theatre and that of theatre back in South Asia.
